
Sony Unveils Alpha 9 III Full-Frame Camera with Global Shutter Sensor
Sony Electronics – November 8, 2023 – Sony today announced the Alpha 9 III, the world’s first full-frame camera with a global shutter sensor. The new camera also comes bundled with the new 300mm F2.8 G Master OSS lens, the world’s lightest large-aperture telephoto prime lens.
The Alpha 9 III features a 24.6-megapixel image sensor with a global shutter, which captures images without motion distortion. This makes the camera ideal for capturing sports, wildlife, and other fast-moving subjects. The camera also features a fast and accurate hybrid autofocus system that can track moving objects with ease.

The new 300mm F2.8 G Master OSS lens is a professional-grade lens that offers excellent optical and autofocus performance. The lens weighs just 1.3 kilograms, making it one of the lightest large-aperture telephoto prime lenses in the world.

The Alpha 9 III will be available for pre-order in the US starting November 9, 2023, for a suggested retail price of $5,999.99. The 300mm F2.8 G Master OSS lens will be available for pre-order in the US starting November 16, 2023, for a suggested retail price of $1,999.99.
